Fighting for the Cure...Together

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. One in eight women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime as breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in women. Breast cancer is also the second leading cause of cancer death in women. The good news is that many women can survive breast cancer if it’s found and treated early. 

Here at Flowers by Pouparina, we are committed to doing our part to save lives and eradicate breast cancer.   Flowers by Pouparina has partnered with Susan G. Komen® Miami/Ft. Lauderdale to help raise awareness about breast cancer and help find a cure for this life-threatening disease. The company has sponsored several of the Affiliate’s events and pledged to donate 10 percent of the sales proceeds from our special “Flower Me Pink For The Cure” collection.  

Our 10 percent pledge is not just for the month of October but continues year round. Through our Flower Me Pink For the Cure collection, we not only hope to raise funds for the great work that Susan G. Komen® Miami/Ft. Lauderdale is doing, but we also want to use the power of flowers to educate others about breast cancer and to raise awareness in Hialeah, Miami and beyond for anyone that wants to join us in the fight for the cure.
